We Salvage Old Wood and Turn It Into Durable Sawmill Logs!

Logs accepted must be 10″ to 34″ in diameter and at least 5′ long.

During our wood recovery efforts, we rescue materials from construction sites, dismantled structures, or surplus wood. These logs are carefully inspected, cleaned, and prepared for reuse as high-quality sawmill logs. By salvaging this wood, we reduce waste and provide a sustainable option for construction, woodworking, or landscaping.

We Repurpose Old Pallets, Scrap Wood, Sawmill Logs, and Wood Waste into Quality Mulch and Firewood!

Our process starts with responsibly sourcing wood waste from pallet production, sawmill logs, and other scrap materials. Instead of letting these resources go to waste, we grind them into mulch-sized pieces while removing any nails or metal. The result is eco-friendly mulch that insulates garden beds and enriches your landscaping.

We also produce seasoned firewood, perfect for heating or outdoor fires. Both our mulch and firewood are available for bulk pickup, and we’re happy to help you load up. Currently, our mulch is natural and uncolored, but we’re working on options to offer colored varieties soon!

Want to turn your old unwanted metal into cash?

Our knowledgeable team and accurate scales will allow you to divert as much metal as possible from landfills and get paid to do it! When you come to our yard you will be weighed on our truck scale or the small scale, depending on quantity and type of materials hauling, once everything is weighed and unloaded you’ll come into the office to be paid out. Residential customers will need to bring a state issued ID card to be put into our system, commercial accounts we will just need an address and a business tax ID.  

Commercial sellers are welcome and we would love to create a relationship with you to help your bottom line. Metal Container pick up and drop offs can be arranged for commercial accounts. Any of your employees can come in and drop off metal or pallets. We will keep a total of all items and can cut checks at the end of the week/month or give your employees cash whichever is better for your company. 

Looking for Custom Size Pallets To Buy Or To Recycle Your Old or Used Pallets?

Green Earth has been selling and manufacturing pallets on the east side of Columbus, OH since 2017. We find delight in giving fast service and availability for all customers whether commercial or consumer. We will consult with you to get you the perfect pallets for your specific situation. We offer new and used pallets and can customize to any size. If you need a custom size or type we can work to get you the exact specifications you need in a custom pallet.

In addition to offering custom sizes and new pallets we also offer a recycling service for pallets. We can take old pallets and take all working parts off to be reused and any un-usable pieces we are able to turn into mulch on-site! We are working to reduce our waste and turn un-wanted items into new material that can be used.

We also purchase used pallets from our community members here in Columbus for those wishing to earn a little extra cash. Using used pallets is a green and renewable way to use our resources in a sustainable way.

We Turn Old Pallets, Old Wood And Wood Scrap Into Mulch!

In the manufacturing of pallets we end up with some wood waste, rather than burn or trash the wood waste we send it through a wood grinder that allows us to grind the wood into mulch size while also removing any nails or other metal that may be in the pieces. This mulch is eco-friendly and good insulation for your garden beds, we do not bag the mulch it is bulk pickup only but we will help load you and get you on your way! We are looking in colorants for mulch but for now we have only natural non-colored mulch.

We also offer mulch in bulk or 2 cubic ft. bags, available in natural or black-dyed options.

We are now selling Recycled Asphalt Shingles!

Previously Green Earth Recycling was in the acquisition and processing of post-consumer asphalt shingles. We would then turn those shingles into recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) that was then sold to hot-mix asphalt companies for use in roads. With how the market has gone we are no longer actively accepting shingles but are still looking into ways of processing the asphalt shingles we have at our yard. We are able to grind and screen the recycled asphalt shingles to specific sizes that can be used in hot mix asphalt and other uses.

Commercial Recycling  – We want to be your partner!

We would love to create a working relationship with your company, whether it is recycling of metal, wood/paper products, ink toner, or suppling your pallet needs. We can serve your business in many ways with container services and roll off dumpsters. We also offer asset management, including but not limited to demolition, data destruction, asset destruction, and warehouse clean outs.

We have commercial account forms and can set you up to pay the person dropping off the material, or we can send out a check at set time amounts (every week, every two weeks, or monthly).
